HTC Desire: An Android phenomena
HTC sure knows how to pack in a punch and it feels like the company has sure delivered it with the Desire. Yes, we have to admit that the HTC Desire is most definitely one of the biggest Android forces to
reckon with but one might even think that the company might have gone a little over board with this one, especially considering that it happens to be one of the most powerful of all the Android phones that are now available- it is almost like HTC has packed in too much into one superbly powerful phone.
The screen itself is one massive creation and if you like your phones to look as impressive as your shining car or your stylish clothes then this phone is definitely the one for you especially given the fact that it has a 3.7 inch screen which is also OLED and capacitive touch screen. The fact however remains that while the screen is one gorgeous thing to own the rest of the phone hardly creates an impression as far as looking great is concerned. The phone is also pretty slim which you might appreciate if you like sleek phones, it is definitely a very pocket friendly phone as it hardly weighs much either, just being about the same weight as the iPhone 3GS.
However, just the looks aside, you will also find that the 5 MP camera that the phone comes with is quite impressive and it comes with the usual Flash Video support as well. It doesn’t however the HD video recording feature that is frankly hardly required on a phone so it is not exactly missed here. Where the other media functions are concerned on the phone, one feature that is definitely an upgrade on this phone and is a very good one is the Dolby Mobile Enhancement that the phone has which results in a very good sounding bass and mid range sounds as well. The music player on the phone is also quite simple to use and with the fast working processor on the phone it works smoothly and quickly as well.
However, on the downside there are a few problems that you must be aware about even though this phone is definitely one that is worth a buy. For instance, the Bluetooth on the phone is known to give some problem, it does not exactly work as smoothly as you would expect out of a powerful Android phone. The battery life of the phone is also suspected to have some issues. As far as being one of the best Android phones is concerned, this is definitely one of the top contenders.
