If your kid has been nagging you about getting him a smartphone this instant, of course because everyone else has it, it might be a good idea that you believe what he is telling you because according to the latest reports smartphones are definitely the fastest selling phones in the industry and very soon everyone will have it. According to these reports, it is believed that between now and the next five years, more than 2.5 billion smartphones will be bought by devotees all over the world and there is actually a very specific reason for this.
The main reason why these smartphones are selling like hotcakes is because of the large number of different kinds of applications that are available and that can be used on these phones easily. There is practically an application for every kind of a job that one might want to get done, and if you have a smartphone with you then you can run this application easily on the phone. It is in fact only these smartphones that will allow you to use all these different technologies and applications, and that all together; this being compared to any other ordinary handset is a huge leap ahead.
China is going to be one of the countries that are going to benefit maximum and this is of course because of the great number of cheaper smartphones that they are so easily manufacturing and selling. While there are the obvious Android devices and the iPhones on one hand which are high end and more expensive, there are also these Chinese built smartphones from China that are affordable all over the world which actually perform all the functions as any other smartphone and they also run all the applications that you want. The country has already sold 7 million smartphones in 2009 and in another five years the number is supposed to increase to a whopping 98 million!
In Europe, UK is supposed to be the number one country to have maximum sales of smartphones and it will remain so in the following years as well; followed by France and Germany and also Spain. You cannot expect a very steep drop of smartphone prices either, but the phones are nevertheless going to be sold no matter how expensive they are going to be.
