Philips launches its most budget friendly portable home cinema projector

Projectors are becoming more and more important in any home cinema set up. This comes as no surprise when TV’s, despite their advancements, are in comparison a lot bulkier, not portable, more costly and offer no real picture improvement above 75-inches (at least not at an affordable price).

But with a projector having a 75-inch screen size is very much at the low end of the scale. In fact most projectors offer a 100-inch experience without breaking a sweat. So whether you want to splash Blu-ray movies across your living room wall, immerse yourself in an intense gaming experience or throw a baby shower and showcase pics from a mobile device onto a 100-inch plus screen for the whole family to coo over, a home cinema projector should in this day and age be your first choice.

Not to mention projectors have come a long way in just a few years and no longer require any complicated wiring, set up or ongoing maintenance. Especially the portable variety. That’s where the Dutch technology behemoth, Philips’ Screeneo budget projector shines. Launching today The NeoPix Ultra projector is the latest addition to the NeoPix range and sits alongside their six other offerings.

The flagship supports a massive 120” screen size with 4200 LED lumens and outputs full native HD through a range of formats including local playback, media streaming and Wi-Fi screen mirroring.

Media connectivity includes dual HDMI ports, a USB port and a microSD slot making playback off a hard drive, memory card or media box a breeze.

The projector also has its newly implemented built in Wi-Fi screen mirroring which makes sharing from laptops, tablets and mobile phones as simple as connecting to a network.

The kit also supports built in stereo speakers, bluetooth speaker connectivity and a 3.5mm audio jack to maximise convenience when on the move.

All this is wrapped up in a portable hard wearing shell making the NeoPix Ultra a budget friendly all rounder that makes it very easy to project exactly where you want, when you want.

The NeoPix Ultra unit retails for just 499 Euros
