In the past there’s been exclusive Xbox 360’s released such as the exclusive Halo one a few years ago, and they have also done a Gears of War exclusive Xbox 360, a Resident Evil exclusive Xbox 360 and also a Final Fantasy one.

There are many different kinds of exclusive Xbox 360’s out there but this new one may be one of the biggest sellers seeing as Call of Duty is one of the biggest selling games around the world.

Activision has just announced that they will be releasing this custom-designed bundle on the 8th of November. The special custom package includes a 320GB Xbox 360 console, a copy of the game, two customised controllers and you will also receive a one-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold.

Retailers, GAME have already started taking pre-orders on the console and it is going to set you back a nice £270. That is of course if you fancy getting a new Xbox. I mean as an added extra it makes custom sounds when you switch it on. That must be an extra incentive to buy one!

Whether you are wondering which would be the best Xbox 360 game you’ve ever played or not there is no doubt that you would want to know which one has been voted as the best one around; just like everyone wants to know which film won the Oscars whether they really thought the film deserved it or not. Well, according to the viewers and the loyals of computerandvideogames.com the best Xbox 360 game that has yet to be made is Mass Effect 2 and they might actually have hit the nail on the head as many game junkies believe.

The voting process according to the statements issued by the website was pretty clear and simple, they asked their visitors and members to vote for the game that they liked the best and the combined those results with their own expert opinion and came up with a list of the ten best Xbox 360 games ever played, where Mass Effect 2 tops the list for good reason. This sequel turned out to be a brilliant game treat with exciting characters and a great story line with a very cinema influenced quality to it. The adventure is made even better because of the improvements that have been made in the combat for the game.

Following up on the list, the game that won the second position for the best Xbox 360 games is Halo 3 ODST which is again a very popular sequel and a definite upgrade when compared to the others. Thinking about how popular the original and the following ones had been, a version that is even better can only be a game that is better than most other games. Fallout 3 is the next in line and definitely comes as no surprise as the game was already one of the best Xbox 360 games on other lists voted by gamers too. Whether it is the atmosphere of the drama or the huge world and the storyline it follows, this game came with a winning formula.

The next game, that came as the fourth best game on Xbox 360 is a game that many people will consider as one that a true gamer cannot do without- Orange Box. There is really not much more that can be said about the game except that it is an essential and is definitely a choice for the fourth position on the list that most Xbox 360 gamers will agree with.
The original Mass Effect has also managed to make it to the top five of this list, gaining the fifth position and there is really no need to list out the reasons why this game has received the honour of this position especially given that its sequel game is actually the number one!

When Microsoft announced the Xbox 360 at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2005, gaming industry pundits labelled it as the next big success of the entertainment world. The first of the ‘next generation’ gaming consoles, the Xbox 360 boasted more power, greater control, and a significantly more versatile operating system than anything which had come before it.

Five years on, Microsoft’s most popular gaming console remains popular. Worldwide sales have passed thirty million and the system’s most popular titles continue to fly out of stores. But faced with competition from Nintendo’s ultra-popular Wii system and Sony’s powerful PlayStation 3, many of the electronic gaming industry’s most prominent voices are expressing doubt over whether the Xbox 360 is still king of the hill.

Following its release, the Xbox 360 was plagued by the same annoyances that damaged its predecessors change of taking over the gaming world. High-quality gaming titles were limited, most games were available on other less expensive consoles, and a small minority of systems were affected by technical issues and compatibility problems.

While technical problems persist with the Xbox 360 – often to the point where users are forced to replace the system three times before finding a working model – we can’t help but think that Microsoft’s greatest weaknesses have turned into real strengths. The 360′s software line up has expanded dramatically, with the console now offering more acclaimed gaming titles than any of its competitors.

Currently available in two configurations (alongside a special edition Elite: 250 package) the 360 remains a popular item for gamers. With rumours of a replacement circulating throughout the gaming world and claims that the console’s abilities are no longer that impressive now commonplace, Microsoft may need to replace their ageing console in order to remain competitive in the electronic gaming world.

The vast majority of über-popular titles for the 360 come from the same period – 2006 through to early 2008. With major releases such as Halo 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare now in almost every gamer’s home, Microsoft could find themselves with few new properties bringing in long-term revenue.

But that’s the future, and given the excitement and disruption in the gaming world, we have little doubt that Microsoft’s 360 replacement will be a true powerhouse. What’s important to gamers isn’t potential, but value. Is the Xbox 360 still a competitive, valuable, and worthwhile purchase today?

For us, the answer is a no-brainer. With a catalogue that’s one of the most extensive in gaming history, a powerful processor and graphics unit that remain competitive almost five years after their release, and a huge online gaming community, Microsoft’s console is one of the most impressive systems available. If you’re torn about adding the ageing Xbox to your collection, do reconsider and give the revolutionary gaming platform a change.

The Xbox 360 is available from just £185. Special 250GB consoles are available at £240, including a copy of the award-winning Forza Motorsport 3.
