Tüyap stages the 35th Plast Eurasia in Istanbul this December. Plastics machinery, raw materials and production technologies share a single venue, with organisers stepping up their appeal to trade visitors across the larger European markets ahead of opening.

İstanbul – Plast Eurasia takes place 2-5 December 2026 at its venue in Istanbul, the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center. Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. runs the fair in partnership with PAGEV, with backing from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. The fair draws distributors, purchasing professionals, manufacturers, technology providers and raw material producers into one place to forge trading ties spanning the plastics sector.

“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”

Momentum builds behind the push for European visitors

Some 90% of the exhibition space is already booked, roughly 3 months ahead of the opening. Organisers expect 80,000 visitors in total from home and abroad, and their trade visitor campaigns focus on Belgium, Germany, Greece, France, Romania, Italy and Poland, together with markets in the Middle East and North Africa.

Trade professionals arriving from Europe will encounter machinery suppliers, materials firms and other plastics companies together at one Istanbul venue in December. The international visitor programme is designed to spark new commercial contacts while helping companies strengthen the business ties they have in place.

Equipment, feedstocks and manufacturing technology all feature

Plastic production machinery, alongside raw materials and chemicals, forms two of the show’s core pillars. The fair’s scope extends to next-generation production technologies and machinery solutions, with efficiency, innovation and value-added production helping to set the commercial agenda.

Such a wide product scope allows buyers and technical staff to weigh up materials, machines and manufacturing methods in a single visit, while exhibitors display new products, technologies and sector solutions to an international audience.

Anniversary line-up charts thirty-five years of industry change

The 35th-anniversary programme includes a Milestones Map, laying out in chronological order the fair’s defining stages next to developments in the plastics industry. A display of vintage plastics production machinery will likewise show how manufacturing technology has shifted across the decades.

At the opening ceremony, Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine will each receive a plaque, recognising three exhibitors that have taken part throughout the fair’s 35-year history.

Through The Stage is Yours! programme, exhibitors get 30-minute speaking slots where visitors can hear about technologies, value-added products, industry solutions and success stories.

Guided routes await hosted buyers

The Hosted Buyer Guided Tour directs overseas purchasing delegations more efficiently to the exhibitors and product groups that matter to them. Buyers taking part receive planned routes, visits to demo and event areas, access to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services.

Turkish Airlines, as Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is discounting qualifying international return flights to Istanbul taken between 25 November and 12 December 2026 by 10% in Economy Class and 15% in Business Class.
