Orange have had their own branded handset on the horizon for some time under the secretive name ‘Project JAL’ and it has finally been unveiled as the San Francisco. IT has been unveiled today under the name San Francisco, whether it will stay that way for the handsets release is another thing but for £99 on pay-as-you-go you can’t complain considering what you’re getting for that price!
Coming complete with Android 2.1 and a rather flash looking chassis this is certainly a handset not to be sniffed at, considering it’s coming in at the lower end of the smart-phone spectrum!
Apple have recently been stonking in at the top end of the smart-phone market but at the bottom end, Orange seem to be leading the way! The san Francisco is rocking Android 2.1, as we stated earlier it’s also got, Wi-Fi, GPS and thrown a bit of 3G into the works.
Considering this is only a ‘budget’ handset it’s rather sleek and very swanky considering the price you’re paying for it. It’s like a rubbish iPhone for you. Or could maybe be a business phone if you’re a builder or a plumber or someone in that line of work.
Although if you are a fan of smart-phones you may not want to look into buying this handset. There are better handsets out there but on the other hand if you don’t want to part with your hard earned cash, and you’re a bit of a stinge then it could be the perfect handset for you!
The final decision rests in your hands, so you decide…
