Squishysaurus has launched a new augmented reality app with an aim to promote interaction and collective play.
The Squishy AR app consists of 3 cute dinosaur characters, Emma the Scientist, Alfie the artist and Madison the athlete that children can interact with in an augmented reality world either by pressing buttons or with voice activation.
In addition to the intriguing AR features, the app also includes immersive stories with optional narration that helps parents read to their children or for children to practise reading themselves.
“Interactions and collective play are important features to a child’s development and is often overlooked by technology. We want to change that. We believe playtime is a great opportunity for development and that’s exactly what you’ll discover when you meet Emma, Madison and Alfie. These cute dinosaurs love to learn and laugh with you.”
Kevin Allen, Founder, Squishysaurus
The Squishy AR app is currently available both on the iOS App Store and Google Play store.
