Autonomous vehicle manufacturer, Local Motors, and global on-demand tech startup, Liftango, have announced their strategic partnership as they prepare to build robust fleet management and on-demand software for Olli 2.0, Local Motors’ electric, autonomous shuttle.
Local Motors continues to deploy vehicles globally as the market for On-demand AV solutions grows. To further capitalize on the opportunities in North America and beyond, the companies have paired up to offer a premium all-in-one AV and On-Demand SaaS Solution to clients.
Liftango’s On-Demand transport technology will enable demand-responsive shuttle services in Local Motor’s AV products, allowing the next generation of AVs to provide timely service for passengers while maximizing vehicle utilization for fleet operators.

Liftango will work with Local Motors to offer customers dynamic vehicle routing, as well as the ability to book rides on Olli 2.0.
The companies’ first joint deployment provides a ride booking solution for Olli 2.0 for veterans in Palo Alto, CA. Liftango will support the integration of the SaaS Solution and feature development, as well as facilitating integration with Olli, sharing results of user testing and feedback, and coordinating activities with the end customer.
